I love Chinese and Asian dishes, but I hate the amount of fat that is often added. To know exactly what is in mine, I make it at home. I will occasionally have rice with this if it is in the off-season.
1 packet of Schezwan Chicken Seasoning - Prepared as directed to make sauce
1 c Mushrooms
1 medium onion
1 medium green pepper
1 8 oz bag of Bean Sprouts
1 c cut broccoli
2 cut up chicken breasts (cooked on the grill with no seasonings earlier)
Prepare all veggies by slicing them into bite size pieces. Heat a skillet over medium heat and spray with thin layer of cooking spray. Sauté all veggies until tender. Add in chicken and schezwan sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until fully heated. Serve alone or over rice. Makes enough for 2 people plus leftovers for the next day
